Boise Boudoir Photographer

Now is the best time to create timeless images

Had the amazing privilege of shooting today and it was AMAZING! I’ll be honest, it’s been hard lately to feel like I have any ‘sexy’ left. Sure, I can get a decent photo here and there, but it always feels like a lie.... I have desperately wanted to remember what it felt like to FEEL sexy again, to really own the moment. Can I just tell you what an amazing experience this was? He did such an incredible job of making me feel comfortable, of reassuring me, of giving direction... ugh! It was exactly what this girl needed...to have a moment to truly shine.

Why Boudoir?

You give so much of yourself—your time, your love, your energy—that sometimes you forget to pause and appreciate the incredibly beautiful person you are.

Boudoir is about more than just photos; it’s about empowerment—a reminder that even on the days you don’t feel sexy or beautiful, you are absolutely stunning. You are enough, exactly as you are, and it’s time you see that for yourself.

Boudoir isn’t just about lingerie and poses—it’s a journey—a shift in how you see yourself. It’s about embracing your imperfections and realizing they make you uniquely perfect. It’s about stepping out of your comfort zone, letting go of fear, and believing in your own power. And I’m here to help you fall in love with yourself all over again… and maybe even leave a few jaws on the floor in the process.

As a male photographer, I’m often asked, “Why boudoir?” And honestly, the answer is simple. Boudoir is not just about empowering you—it empowers me, too. It gives me the opportunity to go beyond words. Rather than tell you, “You’re beautiful,” I get to show you…often through imagery so stunningly powerful it brings tears of joy. I help women embrace their strength, their worth, and their beauty—and is there really anything better than that?

It’s your Turn >>

Now is your moment. There’s a stunning, powerful version of you waiting just beneath the surface, and it’s time to see how truly incredible you are. I can’t wait to show you.

A boudoir session is a liberating experience that allows you to embrace yourself fully. It’s fun, exciting, sultry, romantic, and more. Embrace the moment, and step into your confidence.

I’d love to hear from you (below)!

Boudoir Photography Information

Unlike a wedding or family photo session, boudoir photography is all about celebrating you—capturing your essence in this moment of your life. Regardless of your age or body type, this chapter is worth honoring and remembering. More than just beautiful images, the experience itself is transformative. Boudoir photography is a unique form of glamour photography that leaves you feeling empowered, confident, and more in tune with yourself than ever before. Every step of the journey is an opportunity to embrace your beauty, and you’ll love the way it makes you feel.

  • My luxury boudoir experience starts at $1,000, but the price is entirely dictated by you based on your wants and needs so you get exactly what you want. The initial cost covers hair and makeup, location costs, and ~2 hours of shooting with multiple outfits. Additionally, the initial cost includes wardrobe planning, posing tips and direction throughout the shoot, and professional retouching of your images. The $1,000 session fee acts as a non-refundable retainer to hold your date, shooting location, and hair & makes services from local professionals.

Drop me a note below in the contact form to schedule a free consultation, meet one another, and plan your shoot.

Initial consultations are completely complimentary and are a fabulous way to meet each other in person prior to the shoot to discuss your ideas, wants, and goals for the shoot as well as share ideas and discuss pricing.

  • Of course! I highly recommend bringing a friend to your shoot—plus, ask about our special offers when you book together for a double shoot or back to back sessions!

  • Absolutely! Photoshop can minimize or completely eliminate common imperfections. However, I take a more natural approach compared to many boudoir photographers because I believe in celebrating the real you. Over hundreds of shoots, I've perfected lighting and posing techniques that highlight your best features, regardless of body type, curves, or age. Rather than altering your appearance, I use Photoshop to enhance and refine your images while keeping them authentic and true to you.

  • Through countless sessions over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing women of all ages, shapes, and sizes. No one arrives knowing exactly how to pose, but everyone leaves with stunning images! My goal is to help you look and feel your absolute best, and I promise you’ll walk away with a newfound confidence. Your only job? Relax and enjoy the experience. Trust me to guide you with expert posing, lighting, and direction—you’re going to love your portraits!

  • That is up to you. I value privacy, and will only share or post images from your session with your permission. I love sharing images that highlight your experience so other women get a better idea of what to expect during a session.

  • Of course! Professional hair and makeup are essential to your boudoir experience. Enjoy in-house styling for every session—sit back, sip a glass of your favorite something, and unwind while we chat before your shoot.

  • Boudoir photography is an empowering and intimate experience, and one of the most common questions I hear is whether to choose a male or female photographer. While some women feel more comfortable with a female photographer, others prefer a male perspective. In reality, there are unique advantages to working with a male boudoir photographer. My goal? To create a completely comfortable, professional, and—most importantly—fun atmosphere. I promise to capture images that celebrate your beauty and confidence in a way that both you and your partner will love.

What are a few benefits of working with a male boudoir photographer?

Many of my clients book boudoir sessions as gifts for their partners, and they often appreciate a male perspective when selecting their final images. Just as I might ask a woman for advice when choosing a gift for my girlfriend, some women feel that a male photographer understands what their partner would find most alluring.

Men and women often see beauty differently. What a woman may dismiss as casual or unremarkable, a man might find effortlessly sexy. For example, you might think an old tank top isn’t alluring, but your partner may love how you look in it, associating it with moments of comfort and authenticity. A male photographer brings a unique viewpoint that aligns with what many partners find most captivating.

For some women, posing in front of a male photographer feels natural because it mimics real-life interactions. This dynamic can make it easier to embrace their sensuality, helping them relax and express their most confident, sexy selves in front of the camera.

Some of the most renowned publications, from Playboy and Maxim to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, have long been photographed by male professionals. While boudoir photography is often associated with female photographers, the reality is that both male and female photographers focus on the same elements—lighting, composition, emotion, and experience. My priority is to create stunning, artistic images while ensuring you feel completely at ease throughout the process.

At the end of the day, choosing the right boudoir photographer isn’t about gender—it’s about connection. You deserve a photographer who makes you feel empowered, beautiful, and celebrated. The best photographer for you will have a style you love, a personality that puts you at ease, and a professional approach that ensures a seamless, unforgettable experience.

No matter who you choose, your boudoir session should leave you feeling radiant, confident, and absolutely stunning.

  • Absolutely! I’m here to help. Once you’ve booked your session, we’ll provide recommendations on attire and themes, along with simple ways to bring your vision to life.

  • Boudoir photography is all about confidence, beauty, and capturing your natural essence. But what you wear plays a crucial role in how comfortable and stunning you feel during your shoot. While picking the right outfit can enhance your experience, some clothing choices may not be the best for a successful boudoir session.

Too Tight - Fitted outfits are great, but if they’re too tight, they can restrict movement and make you feel uncomfortable. If you’re struggling to breathe or move freely, that’s a clear sign you should opt for a different outfit. You want pieces that hug your curves without squeezing. Before your shoot, try on your outfits and test them out—walk, sit, and lie down to make sure you feel good in them.

Too Loose - Boudoir photography is meant to showcase your natural curves, so super loose or oversized outfits can be unflattering. They may make you look boxy or hide the natural shape of your body. That said, there are exceptions where flowy fabrics can work beautifully—just be sure to consult with your photographer in advance to align your vision.

Too Many Straps - Strappy lingerie can look amazing, but it can also be a hassle. Too many straps can become a distraction, slipping out of place or creating uneven lines in your photos. If you love the strappy look, make sure it’s practical and won’t take away from your comfort or confidence during the shoot.

Overly Complicated - If you can’t tell which side is the front and which is the back, it’s probably not the best choice for your session. Boudoir shoots should be about effortless confidence, not spending extra time adjusting complicated pieces. Choose outfits that are easy to put on and switch out so you can focus on feeling fabulous rather than fussing with fabric.

Too Many Choices - Variety is great, but having too many outfit choices can lead to decision fatigue. Avoid analysis paralysis by pre-selecting your top three or four outfits for a two-hour shoot. If you want a backup, bring an extra one or two just in case, but keep it simple. Less stress = more confidence!

At the end of the day, your boudoir shoot is about capturing your essence, not just the clothes you wear. The key is to relax, enjoy the experience, and let your inner goddess shine! When you feel comfortable and confident, it will naturally reflect in your photos.
